Design project-day 1

Tomas Urrutia, Sofia Mesa

The game will be for Middle School
The difficulty will be Medium

What makes a game fun and successful:

  • Not that hard but not that easy
  • that you win a prize
  • competition
  • makes people think its interesting
  • topics that people like
Research:

  • I liked that the kid ndid many games. He was creative, and looked like he worked hard. I think he coould have used and created new games, not a new type of real arcade games.

  • He had tons of games. Again he didn't explain, and had the same ideas as a nnormal arcade. But still he had good ideas and a lot of different games.

  • This was the best video I watched, he thought opf all. He created different forms of games.

Ideas for our game:
  • That looks nice and attracts peoples attention
  • Keep it in a medium level so the Middle School kids don't think it is too easy or too hard
  • New ideas, to try and be creative
  • Make the game to achieve competition between the players
Our idea:
  • Competition between two players, and get a ball from a ball full of confetti. The first to get the ball will try to make 5 goals with it it his/her own goal. Then create a triangle with three cards.
What may go wrong:
  • The confetti could ran out
  • The ball could be lost
  • people couldn't create a triangle with the cards
  • Cards get lost
